What Else?

Of course, Cornwall has plenty more to offer. There are places of interest for all of the family. Lands end provides an entertaining and educational day out, as does Poldark Mine - an old tin mine opened up as a visitor center.

Goonhilly earth satellite station is located right down on the Lizard, the most southerly point of mainland UK. Here you can learn how telecommunications work in a real life, working satalite station.

Flambards Themepark is always a hit with the children as is Dobwalls, the World in Miniature and Holywell bay.

If you are into sport then there are plenty of golf courses nearby. There is a gliding and land sailing club within walking distance of St.Agnes and there are 2 leisure centres providing gyms, swimming pools and leisure facilities only a short drive away. There is plenty of fishing oppertunity and of course there are the fantastic beaches for surfing, kayaking or of course just lying in the sun! Stithians dam resevoir also provides excellent watersports facilities for people of all abilities.

Of course just exploring the coastline and countryside is what attracts most people to Cornwall. Whether you are walking, Cycling or driving you'll find your stay relaxing and exiting. There is something for everyone, whatever the weather, all year round.
